The Saturn L-Series is a line of automobiles, sedans and station wagons that were made by Saturn Corporation in Wilmington, Delaware for 2000–2005 model years. Poor sales of the L-Series cars caused GM to cancel the line for 2005. The first L-Series car was built in May 1999, and the last one rolled off the Wilmington line on June 17, 2004, after a short run of 2005 models. About 406,300 L-Series cars were built in this period. The plant was then retooled to build the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky roadsters.

Why is it worth importing Saturn L Series?

The American market offers the Saturn L Series in equipment versions that are often unavailable in Europe. In addition, the transparent service history (Carfax) and strict insurance regulations in the US make buying a "damaged" car a safer investment than buying an "accident-free" vehicle with an unknown history on the local market.

Frequently asked questions about Import from the USA

We dispel doubts about Copart/IAAI auctions, transportation costs and customs procedures.

The total cost of importing a car from the USA consists of several components: the auction purchase price (Copart or IAAI), the auction house commission (approx. 500-900 USD), the land transport in the USA (to the port, avg. 400-800 USD), the ocean freight (to Europe, approx. 1000-1400 USD), and customs and tax fees. In Poland, customs duty (10%), VAT (23% or 19% in Germany) and excise duty (3.1% for engines <2.0L or 18.6% for >2.0L) are added. Our import calculator calculates these amounts precisely.
