Cagiva is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer. It was founded in 1950 by Giovanni Castiglioni in Varese, originally producing small metal components. Giovanni's sons, Claudio and Gianfranco Castiglioni, went into the motorcycle industry in 1978. The name is a portmanteau derived from the founder's name 'Giovanni Castiglioni' and the founding location, i.e. Castiglioni Giovanni Varese. In its history, Cagiva won races in Dakar and Motocross competitions, as well as in Grand Prix motorcycle racing.

Frequently asked questions about Import from the USA
We dispel doubts about Copart/IAAI auctions, transportation costs and customs procedures.
The total cost of importing a car from the USA consists of several components: the auction purchase price (Copart or IAAI), the auction house commission (approx. 500-900 USD), the land transport in the USA (to the port, avg. 400-800 USD), the ocean freight (to Europe, approx. 1000-1400 USD), and customs and tax fees. In Poland, customs duty (10%), VAT (23% or 19% in Germany) and excise duty (3.1% for engines <2.0L or 18.6% for >2.0L) are added. Our import calculator calculates these amounts precisely.
